The name TruFocus goes back to 1987, at which time the company was acquired from its previous owner. The present management and staff have collectively over 100 years of experience in the x-ray industry. Previously, key members of this close-knit team played an important role in the development of "microfocus tube technology" for which the company is noted. This proven technology, employing a grided gun and user controllable focal spot size, has evolved over a three-decade period and has been used in medical, industrial and scientific applications where beam uniformity and superior image quality are paramount.
The company is located in Watsonville, California. All research, design, manufacturing, business and marketing activities are centralized at this location.
